About Me

I live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada since Jan 1989, having immigrated from Singapore.

Single again after a splitting up in 2002, I travel to S.E. ASIA every winter.   Recently 'discovered' Sarawak and the many beautiful and vibrant tribes and unlike the Sabah scene found the tribal nations in Sawawak proud to preserve and keep their cultural traditions and language alive.   Good for you.

Looking forward to meet more of you 'First Nations' of Sarawak in the near future.

Paul, I am going to do my next 2 months bag packing from North Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia trip next summer. I am going to hire this group called 'the easy riders' to be my guide and my transporter...hehehe..
Sound like you have an interesting job. Lucky you, for being able to travel and work at the same time.
I now live in Jakarta and I can always come back to Sarawak anytime. Just tell me, what exactly do you want to experience in Borneo.

HI Sylvia, nice to hear from you. Yes my last road bike was a yamaha 750cc. Jealous to hear of your motorbike trip in vietnam. Small world eh, Robson St in vancouver. For the past 5 yrs or so i have been around to small places like queen charlotte islands, and other isolated remote first nations reserve to work. I plan to come back to work/live in sarawak in a few months time...this time for longer stretches like say 6 months at least i hope. let me k now of your upcoming trip to Long Moh, you bet im v interested....if the timing is right. Cheers, Paul

Hi Paul,
Nice to know you. I am now living in Jakarta. I just got back from a 16 days motorbike tour in Vietnam. I had an amazing trip. I have a strong feeling that you are an adventurous person. I am pretty sure you will enjoy it.
My village is called Long Moh. Currently the only way to reach this village is through the dirt/logging road. I am organizing a trip to my village for a few people who are as adventurous as you are.
I used to live on Robson street in Vancouver. I think I can guess the kind of travel that might interest you. In case you wants to come back to Borneo, I will be more than happy to arrange something for you.
